Honorable President and Members of the Senate:
I have this day VETOED and am returning SENATE BILL
567, enacted by the Forty-Fifth Legislature, First Session, 2001.
This
bill increases the local hospital gross receipts tax for Cibola, Sierra and
Torrance counties from 1/8th of 1 percent to 1 percent. I have signed into law Senate Bill 516, which
irreconcilably conflicts with the provisions of this legislation.
