HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ______ to HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 18, as amended

1. Strike the house appropriations and finance committee amendment.

2. On page 2, line 4, after "1978" insert ", subject to conditions provided in this resolution".

3. On page 2, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following:

"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the attorney general shall assist in the negotiations of the proposed lease to ensure that the state's interests are protected and to ensure that provisions for subleasing the property require compliance with the Procurement Code and other applicable laws; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the state reserve the right to cancel the lease with the county with one hundred eighty days' notice; and".
