SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Memorial 31 recognizes the Bernalillo Middle School Band and its director for their initiative, hard work and dedication in preparing to represent New Mexico at the American Musical Salute to the Millennium.
The memorial lauds the band and its director for being the state's sole representative at the American Musical Salute to the Millennium, for dedication and hard work as band members and for their efforts in raising $32,000 to help defray the costs associated with making the trip to Washington, D.C. to play on the White House lawn.
The memorial requests that the citizens of New Mexico encourage and support the Bernalillo Middle School band's participation as the state's only official representative to the two hundredth anniversary cerebration at the White House.
Senate Memorial 31 is identical to House Memorial 15.
