SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
This bill amends the retiree healthcare act to include former legislators, former members of certain boards and certain former county and municipal officers. The payment of monthly premiums shall cover the cost of administering the plan.

It is unknown at this time what this impact would have on the Retiree Health Care Fund.

What impact this bill would have is unknown at this time. Depending on the number of persons who elect to participate, and the incidence of new claims resulting from this change, this may have significant impacts on the retiree health care fund. A formal actuarial study on the impacts of this legislation would be appropriate.
