SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
The bill appropriates $225.0 to contract for comprehensive community-based cancer patient support services including education services, library services, support group services and provision of one-to-one matches between cancer patients and cancer veterans. These services would be available to cancer patients suffering from any type of cancer.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The bill appropriates $225.0 in general fund in FY01 to the Department of Health.
