HM2 requests the US Postmaster General and the US Postal Service to designate the city of Rio Rancho with own Post Office, Zip Code, Postmark and Postmaster.
Significant Issues
Census bureau has certified the current population of Rio Rancho at over 50,000 (NM forth largest city) and is projected to grow to 100,000 by the year 2020. HM-2 notes that Rio Rancho has been an appendage of the Albuquerque post office since it inception.
