SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Joint Resolution 12 proposes an amendment to the state's Constitution to revise the requirements for electing or retaining district judges who serve in multi-county districts. Judges in multiple county districts where there is at least one judge residing in each county would stand for retention only in the county in which they reside.
