SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 350 provides that collection by the municipal courts of the $6.00 municipal court automation fee be terminated on July 1, 2004.
Significant Issues
After July 1, 2004, municipal court automation fees will no longer be collected, effectively eliminating the revenue stream with which municipal court automation initiatives are funded.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
After July 1, 2004, Municipal court automation initiatives will be required to get funding from the general fund.
