Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 222 appropriates $25.0 from the general fund to the SDE in fiscal year 2001 to purchase equipment and develop and present curriculum on school safety at Onate High School in Dona Ana County.
Significant Issues
SDE will monitor the expenditure of the appropriation to ensure the intent of the memorial is carried out.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The bill appropriates $25.0 to SDE from the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
