This bill appropriates $500.0 from the general fund to the Board of Regents of the University of New Mexico to plan and design a new engineering building on campus.



Significant Issues



The University's highest priority, $9 million for an Architecture and Planning building, has been recommended by CHE.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The appropriation of $500.0 contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY01 shall revert to the general fund.
