Synopsis of Bill



House Bill 111 appropriates $219.8 in recurring general fund to the Administrative Office of the courts (AOC) to fund the Court Appointed Special Advocates program.





According to AOC analysis, $190.0 of the appropriation will be used to support or expand current CASA programs in judicial districts statewide, and the remaining $29.8 will be used to create new programs in the Fourth and Tenth judicial districts.
