STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT SCHOOLS IN THE ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOL

DISTRICT IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to design and equip playground improvements at Tomasita elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for educational technology at San Antonio elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at Chelwood elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

twenty-two thousand dollars ($22,000) to purchase and install playground equipment at Montoya elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to purchase and install playground equipment at Acoma elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to refurbish student restrooms at Jackson middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county; and

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for a track at Manzano high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county.
