REQUESTED BY

FOR ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOL PROJECTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 11 IN

BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to purchase vans for the West Side community center in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

to the state highway and transportation department

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct speed deterrents on South Field road and nearby streets in southwest Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to surface and improve Los Pinos road in Bernalillo county; and

sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to improve the intersection of Coors and Blake in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

to the state department of public education

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to improve and equip the playground at Atrisco elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at Rio Grande high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at West Mesa high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to improve and equip the playground at Armijo elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to renovate and improve the playground at Harrison middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for educational technology at Polk middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for educational technology or books for Carlos Rey elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for educational technology at Mary Ann Binford elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for educational technology at Truman middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase musical instruments for Ernie Pyle middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase musical instruments for Truman middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase musical instruments for Harrison middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county; and

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase musical instruments for Polk middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county; and

to the state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) to improve play fields in the south valley of Bernalillo county; and

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to improve play fields at the Mesa del Sol project in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
