REQUESTED BY

FOR DIGITAL TRANSMITTERS AND TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT AT KENW, KNME AND

KRWG TELEVISION STATIONS STATEWIDE.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the commission on higher education

nine million four hundred eighty-six thousand dollars ($9,486,000) to acquire and install digital television transmission equipment and to equip digital transmitters with the capability to perform local origination of multiple channel broadcasting and broadcast data services at KENW in Portales, KNME in Albuquerque and KRWG in Las Cruces.
