STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IN

EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to purchase and install a security, surveillance and recording system at Carlsbad high school in Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to purchase or modernize vocational equipment in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to construct and equip a computer-assisted vocational drafting, machinery and robotics laboratory in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to construct greenhouses in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county.
