SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 364

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to design and construct phase 3 of the Lake Carlsbad erosion control project in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for design, construction and implementation of phase 3 of the wastewater effluent reuse project in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to improve the interior and exterior of the Lake Carlsbad bicentennial bandshell in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to improve and renovate the interior and restrooms to two little league ballfields in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct a park shelter at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. park in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to repair and renovate the Lake Carlsbad facilities and restrooms in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to repair the Carlsbad municipal golf course pro-shop in the city Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to repair, construct and renovate the interior and restrooms at the Pecos River Village conference center in the city of Carlsbad in Eddy county.
