SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 173

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR SILVER CITY IN GRANT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to test and develop the Gabby Hayes supplemental well in Silver City in Grant county; and

two hundred twenty-nine thousand dollars ($229,000) to plan, design and engineer phase 2 of the wastewater treatment plant expansion in Silver City in Grant county;

to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for paving, curbs, gutters and a bicycle path on Little Walnut road in Silver City in Grant county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for phase 2 design and construction of the community-built park in Silver City in Grant county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to purchase the Chacon property for relocating the cemetery in Silver City in Grant county;

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to purchase a ladder truck for the fire department in Silver City in Grant county; and

one hundred seven thousand dollars ($107,000) to renovate the recreation center to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in Silver City in Grant county.
