44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR PURCHASING LIBRARY BOOKS AND EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLING LIBRARY DATABASES STATEWIDE.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the library division of the office of cultural affairs

six million dollars ($6,000,000) to acquire library books, equipment and library resources for distribution statewide; and

two million dollars ($2,000,000) to acquire electronic periodical data bases for school, public and academic libraries statewide.

Preferred funding source: General Obligation Bonds
