REQUESTED BY

FOR SAN JUAN RECOVERY IMPLEMENTATION, UTE DAM IMPROVEMENTS AND GILA

RIVER GAGING NETWORK.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the office of the state engineer

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to provide a state contribution to the San Juan river recovery implementation program;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design, renovate and construct Ute dam in Quay county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to replace surface water measurement devices on the Gila river in Catron county; and

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) from the irrigation works construction fund to replace surface water measuring devices on the Gila river in Catron county.
