STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE VILLAGE OF MAGDALENA IN SOCORRO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) to renovate and purchase equipment for the senior center in the Alamo Navajo reservation in Socorro county;

to the department of environment

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to purchase and install a water storage tank and make improvements to the water system in Magdalena in Socorro county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to plan, design, construct and equip an animal shelter in Magdalena in Socorro county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to construct a playground area, walking paths and benches to the village park in Magdalena in Socorro county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan, design and construct additional bay space for the fire station in Magdalena in Socorro county.
