STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TORRANCE COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for planning, engineering, constructing and improving the water system for the Tajique mutual domestic water consumers association in Torrance county;

to the state highway and transportation department

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for road repairs and equipment in Torrance county.

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase equipment for the Torrance volunteer fire department in Torrance county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase and equip vehicles for the sheriff's department in Torrance county.
