REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE VALLEY CLUSTER SCHOOLS IN THE

ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to relocate bus zones, basketball courts and portable classrooms at Cochiti elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to replace playground equipment, landscape, refurbish and make improvements to Griegos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to upgrade security lighting systems and renovate the media center, the main entrance and administrative offices at La Luz elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred eight thousand dollars ($208,000) to renovate student restrooms at Duranes elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate the student restrooms at Alameda elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to refurbish and upgrade classrooms at Los Ranchos elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to refurbish the school kitchen and teachers' lounge at Alvarado elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to install grass fields, tracks and a shade structure at Mission Avenue elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

one hundred ninety-five thousand dollars ($195,000) to install grass fields and track and replace sidewalks at Douglas MacArthur elementary school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to make improvements to the staff parking lot and upgrade the heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems at Taft middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to remodel and renovate student restrooms at Garfield middle school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to extend the gymnasium lobby at Valley high school in the Albuquerque public school district in Bernalillo county.
