HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 77

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE MESA VISTA CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT IN TAOS AND RIO ARRIBA COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to plan, design and construct a garage for maintenance of school buses and vehicles in the Mesa Vista consolidated school district in Taos and Rio Arriba counties;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to develop a drainage system for the Mesa Vista campus of the Mesa Vista consolidated school district in Taos and Rio Arriba counties;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to equip and furnish an auditorium and lecture hall facility in the Mesa Vista consolidated school district in Taos and Rio Arriba counties;

four hundred twenty thousand dollars ($420,000) to plan, design and construct a counseling and health service center at Mesa Vista middle and high schools in the Mesa Vista consolidated school district in Taos and Rio Arriba counties; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to improve facilities to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in the Mesa Vista consolidated school district in Taos and Rio Arriba counties.
