AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NEW MEXICO STATE POLICE PERSONAL SERVICES AND IN-STATE TRAVEL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million nine hundred thousand dollars ($2,900,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico state police division of the department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for New Mexico state police personal services and in-state travel expenses. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
