MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY SPECIAL PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of retaining a director and a full-time nurse practitioner and to provide additional support in the area of social work for the university of New Mexico pediatric oncology special project. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
