MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION TO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE RIO GRANDE SCHOOL CLUSTER IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to support educational programs at the Rio Grande school cluster in the south valley of Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
