MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTRACTING FOR MICROFILMING SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the third judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of contracting for microfilming services to reduce a twelve-year backlog of cases currently not available on microfilm. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
