AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND TWO EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN POSITIONS IN THE JEMEZ VALLEY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to hire and, if necessary, to train two additional licensed emergency medical technicians to be stationed at Jemez pueblo to respond to emergency medical needs of people located in the Jemez valley. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
