AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HIGH PLAINS WRITING PROJECT AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to support the high plains writing project. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
