MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS TO PAY SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR THREE ADDITIONAL CLERKS IN THE CHAVES COUNTY MAGISTRATE DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to pay salaries and benefits for three additional clerks in the Chaves county magistrate district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
