MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAM IN THE PERFORMING ARTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for implementing and operating a program for youth education in various aspects of performing arts, including staging, lighting, sound and technical production and participation in dance, orchestral, theatrical, operatic and small ensemble performances in Santa Fe county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
