MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FORENSIC EVALUATION PROGRAMS SERVING CHILDREN.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the district attorneys for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to fund existing and new forensic evaluation programs serving children. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
