AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO PURCHASE HIGH-RESOLUTION DIGITAL ORTHOPHOTOGRAPHY FROM AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY TO ASSIST THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SANTA FE IN VARIOUS PROJECTS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to purchase high-resolution digital orthophotography from aerial photography to assist the city and county of Santa Fe in the design of water and wastewater systems, the design of storm water systems, flood plain delineation, regulation and land development projects and property tax assessments. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
