AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT TO PROVIDE A SALARY AND BENEFITS FOR A SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR FOR JUVENILE DRUG COURT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-one thousand dollars ($51,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to provide a salary and benefits for a substance abuse counselor for juvenile drug court. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
