AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NEW DISTANCE EDUCATION MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM IN LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of establishing a new distance education master's degree program in learning technologies, including faculty expenses and acquiring course supplies and computer equipment. Any unexpended or unexpended balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
