AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF AN INFANT AND CHILD ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE ADDICTION PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($475,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of maintaining an infant and child alcohol and substance abuse addiction program in the school of medicine at the university of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of the fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
