MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR A BORDER HEALTH OFFICE FARM WORKER OUTREACH RESOURCE CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 by the border health office for the purpose of developing a farm worker outreach resource center to provide referral, education and counseling services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
