MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ALLIANCE FOR MINORITY STUDENTS AND THE REGIONAL ALLIANCE FOR SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the alliance for minority students and the regional alliance for science, mathematics, engineering and technology for students with disabilities programs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
