MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO FUND PUBLIC SCHOOL ACTIVITIES DURING THE MARIACHI EDUCATIONAL TRAINING CONFERENCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of funding public school activities during the mariachi educational training conference. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
