RELATING TO THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ADVANCED PLACEMENT TEACHER TRAINING AND STUDENT TESTING IN HOBBS PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for advanced placement teacher training and student testing in Hobbs public schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
