AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COMPLETE THE SECOND PHASE OF GEOHYDROLOGICAL STUDY OF THE PLACITAS AREA IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the state engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to complete phase two of a geohydrological study of the Placitas area located in Sandoval county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
