AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO ENABLE THE VILLAGE OF GRADY TO MEET CERTAIN PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-nine thousand dollars ($39,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2000 and 2001 to provide funds to enable the village of Grady to meet its payment obligations for a village water tank. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.

Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
