AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE PRENATAL CARE TO ALL UNINSURED RESIDENTS OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four million six hundred thousand dollars ($4,600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to provide prenatal medical services to all uninsured residents of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
