AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL SERVICE TO PURCHASE COMPUTERS AND UPGRADE AND MAINTAIN THE LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred seventy-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($277,500) is appropriated from legislative council service cash balances to the legislative council service for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to replace computers and upgrade and maintain the legislative information system. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall not revert to the general fund.
