MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO VETERANS' SERVICE COMMISSION TO PROVIDE FOR COMMEMORATIVE ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES IN HONOR OF WOMEN VETERANS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico veterans' service commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to provide, in conjunction with women in military services for America, for commemorative activities and services in honor of women veterans. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
