AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR THE OPERATION OF AN AMBULANCE SERVICE IN THE PECOS VALLEY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to provide for the operation of an ambulance service for the village of Pecos in San Miguel county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
