MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BERNALILLO COUNTY METROPOLITAN COURT TO CONTRACT FOR A JUDGE PRO TEM FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVIEWING CODE VIOLATION CASES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Bernalillo county metropolitan court for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to contract for a judge pro tem for the purpose of reviewing code violation cases. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
