AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NEW ENGINEERING BUILDING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to plan and design a new engineering building on the campus of the university of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
