AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING AN AREA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN GRANT COUNTY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to study the feasibility of establishing an area vocational school for the Silver consolidated and Cobre consolidated school districts. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
