Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 85

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 3, line 5, after the period insert "In a fiscal year in which the at-risk index is recalculated and the recalculation results in a decrease in revenue solely attributable to a decrease in the at-risk index, a district shall receive no less than ninety percent of the at-risk funding generated in the immediately preceding fiscal year. The state department of education shall recalculate the at-risk index for fixcal year 2001.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
